Can you show a screen about that , is there a moving tentacle on that screen?
This Screen - Cutscene here, after that teleported to the left ... seemes to be the same problem another player had ... i'm using 2.50.1 - older versions won't work with win 7

Ah i see now.Best thing to do is to play this quest with 2.10. Yes i know that 2.10 is not working with some win7 computers.You could send a pm to Castchaos and ask for the cheat code,
That part somehow works in 2.10.

i hope i can finish this. i remember on my first try (older pc with xp and 2.10) i got past this but stuck at the boss-fight in lvl8 ... endless repeat of battling darknuts, warping to screen with many whirls, moving one tile .. and darknuts again. No End.
Btw another question - is the Slash-Ability somewhere ? ... the guy at the lvl7-town said "if you did not know it by now you learn ist now" but nothing happend. So i think i missed it earlier...

That is because the version you are using. It doesn't detect trigger combos when teleporting onto them. I will pm you the L4 cheat.
As for the L8 boss, the endless repeat is intentional. You are supposed to walk through the walls at some point (maybe right in the beginning when the vires are on), thus escaping the loop. At that escape part, all wals are fully walkable and you can leave the screen in any directions.
As for slashing, the earliest you can find it is in the past L5 area, Desert Ocean. Slash the grass at the middle east.

Thanks ... and for the l8-Boss, i noticed it now ... thanks to a vibe who was jumping "under" the walkthrough-wall. Sometimes you are evil 
Edit : Completed the Quest including secret and best endings ... so the Quest would be fully playable for future generations using 2.50.x if you modify the Aria Spot-Scene ;-) Maybe a little update ?

I don't update 2.10 quests anymore, since I can't normally use 2.10 on my win7 laptop anymore. I had more reasons for not updating, but I forgot them by now. Sure, if I was to update one, I could totally update many others. For example, SB has so many errors that I would even make an SBDX if I had the time. But when I have the time, I rather use it for developing a new project.
