The NES controller isn't much to look at, but does run a consistent color theme. Despite being the least comfortable of Nintendo's controllers, the NES 1 model was also the most durable. If you're playing Megaman, and you throw your controller at the wall cause you missed a moving platform in Gutsman's stage, you're more likely to put a hole in the wall than break your controller.

I'll agree with that, except for the most dreadful controller. The controller for the N64 was kinda... eh.

The PS2 slim also looks very nice =]

Most Beautiful Console= Wii probably. (Havent seen ps3 or 360 yet...)
Most Dreadful Console= Atari drives me nuts.

Most Beautiful Controller= Wii remote
Most Dreadful Controller= Those upgraded versions of the n64 controller. I think it might be by a company called wildcats or something? Anyways the control stick is just plain horrendous. ( This was true for all 4 that I've tried) I seriously wonder if they even bothered to try out the controllers before they sold them. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Most Beautiful Console--Wii. Small, simple, and doesn't look like it would do something else instead of playing games(unlike the Ken Kutaragi grill).
Ugliest Console--The NES when it changed to a top-loading console. Functional, but it was UGLY!

Most Beautiful Contoller--GC controller. Not that it looks nice, but the way it fits in your hands. It's just...comfortable, which should be the second golden rule(behind function).
Ugliest Controller--Dreamcast Controller. It was HUGE, thanks to that VMU slot, and the thing was hard to actually play games on.
