I'd personally like to see a remake of the first Fire Emblem game with DS graphics. The battles of Path of Radiance for Gamecube have amazed me in looks, and I'd like to see something like that for a DS Remake.

I'd say a Pokemon Gold & Silver remake, as well, but considering that FireRed and LeafGreen were just remade a few years ago, I wonder if the same will happen to a Gold & Silver remake. A few changes, though: Unknown Dungeon should stay, new areas for Johto, like the Sevii Islands of FireRed/LeafGreen, and probably two special Gyms. Oh yeah, and maybe fighting the main characters of Ruby/Sapphire and Diamond/Pearl (gender based on the gender of your character).

If only part of Rare didn't split to become Free Radical. Then I'd be suggesting a Blast Corps. remake. Considering what happened to Diddy Kong Racing, the difficulty may end up getting dumbed down (which would mean Oyster Harbor and Diamond Sands wouldn't provide a challenge icon_frown.gif ).

SoM would be cool, along with the rest of the series. I wish more SNES games would've been on GBA (still my system of choice for 2D games).

I hate remakes. They're just an excuse to blow more money on a game you already own.

They're for people who don't already own them. Such as younger gamers who weren't around during the life of the older systems.

They should bring back Quest 64. They should improve the game by combining elements of Quest RPG for the Game Boy Color but using the graphics and gameplay of the 64 version. Quest RPG went into more detail and had 8 bit cutscenes, while Quest 64 was a straight forward RPG with hardly any cutscenes. If you could put the two together, as well as new scenes or new areas or something to improve it, it'd be really awesome.

Speaking of Quest 64, they should put that on the Virtual Console.

icon_eek.gif Aww dang. I forgot about Quest 64. That was the first N64 RPG I've ever owned (and probably the 5th game I got for the N64).

It was fun, but you needed to be conservative with your items, since the shops will only allow you one item at a time. If it's in your inventory, you don't get it at all. Ahh... it was a rainy day when I first played it. It was really hard for me, back then. I did end up legitimately beating it, though. Yeah. It really needs to return. I'd say it would be great for the DS. Updated graphics (I'd like to see the spells having improved graphics, myself) and a touch screen feature (aside from picking spells) would benefit it nicely, too.

Also, Walking Water and Avalanche FTW.

I think an AoL remake for the DS wouldn't be half bad. icon_shrug.gif I was a child of the 90's (and never owned a Nintendo apart from the GB and GC icon_eek.gif), so I'm not familiar with all the oldfangled contraptions you call "Quest 64".

A compilation game of Kirby's Dreamland/2/3, with the first two having KDL3-styled graphics (Of course, keeping the same style and feel of their original graphics)

To sum it up

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles
ChronoTrigger
Fire Emblem one and two(NES)
Zelda 2(they made BS Zelda, so why not?)
Quest... Yes Quest! I didn't like Quest 64, but I liked Quest RPG for the GBC

and many more that took a dip in the lake of the forgotten.
