What is the right way to make a multi-room house, and put a guy somewhere inside? I can't seem to get guys in anywhere but caves.

You'd make the player enter the house just like you would for a dungeon. Set the house's dmap type to interior or cave, and then just make it! Since it has the interior or cave type dmap, the guys actually appear in the rooms.

Ok, I made a small house, but whenever I enter, I start in the wall in the upper-left corner. And yes, I did set link's starting point at the bottom door. Also, the guy doesn't show up in the room. (It's a one room... room.)

Set the level number to 1 or higher, first off. That part is crucial. Also, you might have to set the green starting location, not the blue, to the door. That should work.

Also, it's probably a good idea to use the 'Insta-warp with blackout' warp to get there rather than the 'entrance/exit' warp.
