We finally get gameplay footage of Zelda Wii U. It's safe to say that this focuses all on free-exploration. Link is climbing mountains, traveling horse-back, and descending using his sailcloth borrowed from Skyward Sword. Some may worry that there isn't much enemies in the overworld, that never means there's nothing to do.
This game seems to borrow elements from Wind Waker's exploration, Twilight Princess's horse-combat, and Skyward Sword's art style (though this art style is based around Japanese anime). Also, there's a "Magic" Meter, haven't seen that since Wind Waker I believe. Some may view this game with an Elder Scrolls vibe to it, but at the end of the day, each Zelda game has always distinguished itself from each other. It may just be a matter of preference if you like the adventure aspect of Wind Waker or the story-telling of Skyward Sword.
