Made it to the Ancient Library, gonna stop there for now. Got my upgraded sword and candle too. YAY-UH.

where did u get the upgraded sword at?

To get the metal sword zcfan go to the south western side of Labrynna past and use the hookshot to get to Explorer's Crypt.
I'm looking for the quiver. I got the clue but I haven't found it yet. There's a tree not far from the Cursed River that I can't get past. I've tried everything in my inventory but nothing has worked. Should I do level 4 first or do I need the quiver before doing it?

you get the sword upgrade at the --- explorer crypt -- need to bring red candle
don't need flute from library for this ....
for the red candle walk to the left side of library till you see water , explore the walls around
there's a bombable one ,, pretty much close!!!

The quiver is in a really obvious spot in the overworld, which you can access with the item you got in level 3. You're not the first person to ask, for some reason others have missed it too even though it's in plain view I guess people see it then forget about it by the time they get the required item.

After having watched your second broadcast, I'm actually going to give you the same advice as last time: go back to Lynna in the present

I said it the first time so you could buy the boomerang and also initiate an item trading sequence (which you have started by finding the flower, but you can do more... talk to people again).

So you may want to go back for this reason, and also because by now you can find another item there, which I think you will enjoy having.

Zcfan said it, but just in case you are wondering, this is not something you're supposed to come up with by yourself, one of the books tells you to do this when you translate it.

(Zcfan: could you perhaps use spoiler tags on that one?)

The symbols in your screenshot do have some significance, but they are unrelated to the maze. Look for the notes the Explorer left behind.
