Teens Are Stupid If Informed.
Smart Teens Don't Have Sex Until They're Married, Or Out Of College.
Teens can be very stupid. They think everything is going to be okay, OR, they just don't think ahead. Obviously, it's going to seem fun. Obviously, it's a new experience. They're both new, .. young, and naive kids, but they don't really look into the long run.
It`s not only the teens fault, I know this one guy who got a Condom for hi s14th Birthday....FROM HIS PARENTS!

TO PHIL: Your comment about the b-day gift of your friend; WTF??? How well do I know you? I mean, what are the chances of TWO people having that happened? IF I'm NOT the one you mean, then thats just FREAKY!!!!! My stoner step-brother gave it to me because he said he "lost" my real gift. HA! Probably blew the cash on, um, "other obligations", if he even did really get me something....
BTW, the leaf hit the trash as soon as his back was turned. Some people........

It spreads aids, and other diseases.
And it is almost like cheating on your wife... only... before you get married.

Teen sex. Done. A lot. All I hear nowadays like at school when I'm sleeping during classes that are irrelevant to my graduation and success, are comments such as, "**** her, she sucked that, he's big, do this, etc." Perturbing comments... too bad I don't have something to filter such comments out of my mind.
Yeah, they do it. Nothing is wrong with sex I say, but I won't be doing it. I used to be an extremely horny kid myself, but such things and the presenting of how life really sucks (moving, losing friends, school switch, hormones, etc.) and my entrance to almost pure carelessness, I just changed my mind.
Basically... I understand why teens are always so crazy over it. Usually, it's the sexually-active ones that have sex (which of course, is the main majority of teens).
Many think it makes you "cool", other just want to do it sooner than later, or they want to make their partner happy; all three are reasons, but they lead to a conequence no matter which.
Plus, teens don't seem to be using protection, or they're not exactly sure how to use it. Two condoms? *buzzer* It'll rip much more easier. One is supposed to be put on... with enough space at the end so there's room for the sperm upon ejaculation (so it doesn't rip the condom and leak out - take note of this just incase you go for protected sex).
Whatever the case... teens must be more careful or just... not do it at all. Surprisingly though... I've not heard of any instances around here where teens have had several sex partners. Wow, and this is CA, too.
As for myself... I've got too many reasons why I wouldn't ever do it (and if you want to know, just reply and I'll say). I still get feelings and crushes for girls, but... I ignore them. I've even said I'll get castrated when I'm an adult; I might, too.
If I were lovable and one who was very "care"ful, I'd not be Exate! Remember that the strict and almost careless rule-enforcer makes the real Exate!
EDIT: I'm not appealing either, so that therefore eliminates being attractive to anybody.

I look at sex as something special that should be reserved for when you are married...there are just to many risks involved if you have it beforehand. Also, if you have sex once before you get married...that odds are you'll have it several more times. Then when you finally do get married, rather then sex being a special experiance that was saved for that "special someone", it will be something that you've already done many times and it won't be anything new or special. When I look at sex before marriage, I see many bad things about it...and hardly any good.
My thoughts exactly.
There have been studies done which show that one thing that helps couples have a healthy, binding marriage is an intimate sexual life. However, how can a husband and wife can't be properly close sexually if one or both of them has already had sex? Like Hero of Hyrule said, it won't be the special experience that it is supposed to be. Sex is a good thing (I don't understand why some say it's a sin), but not when it is out of place. Sex should be a physical manifestation of a husband's/wife's love for his/her partner. But when, out of a lack of self-control, a guy (or a girl) goes out and has sex instead of waiting until he is married, the experience is spoiled. My youth pastor taught a class called "The Power of Sex" and he described it like this:
Say you've been invited to dinner at the most expensive restaurant in town. The food tastes better than you can ever imagine, and it's going to be paid for completely, so all you have to do is come and eat. But you can't quite go until suppertime without getting something to eat. You're stomach is rumbling, so you eat a snack. You wait awhile, but still feel hungry, so you get another snack. Then you get another. Now, it's suppertime. You go to the restaurant and sit down to eat. But you've been snacking on junk food and sodas all day, and you're actually somewhat full. You start to eat, but you don't have as big an appetite as you once did, because instead of waiting a little while for the highest quality food, you were busy eating junk food.
Sex when you're married is like the high-quality meal at that expensive restaurant. Premarital sex is the junk food. When you go out and have sex before you're married (even if it's with your future wife/husband), then you have sex after you're married, it isn't as good or as fun as you thought it would be. Like Moms always warn you not to do, you've spoiled your appetite. The anticipation of sex greatly augments the experience (after all, the mind, not the sexual organs, is the greatest sexual tool- it's where the desire comes from in the first place). So when you wait for marriage to have sex, it is actually much greater, better, and more fulfilling than if you go ahead and have sex early. Problems and troubles arising from teen sex aside, it is still better to wait until marriage.
Secondly, sex is something that involves your entire being. Sex is emotional, mental, and physical. When you have sex, it affects your entire person, and you remember the experience for your entire life. Once you've had any sexual experience with someone, you can never forget it, even if you want to. If you have sex as a teen, the memory of it is branded into you; when you finally find the right woman (or man, I'm just writing this from a guy's perspective since I am one) to marry, and you have sex with her, you experience something known as "sexual ghost". When you have sex, you're mind automatically remembers every other time you've had sex. When you have sex with your wife, you are forced to recall all the times you had sex with someone before your wife. Not only does this sexual ghost keep you from fully enjoying sex, it harms your relationship with your wife. Sex creates a special bond between a man and his wife, but that bond is destroyed by sexual ghost. Being able to say to your wife "I saved myself for you" is worth more than all the teen sex in the world. Having sex prematurely doesn't hold a candle to saving your virginity until you're married.
As for the consequences and trouble that arises from teen sex, it's much easier to abstain from sex than to try to prevent the problems and go ahead and have sex.
No matter what the mainstream media says, virginity is something to be proud of. Remember: once you choose to throw your virginity away, you can never get it back.
If you don't mind, Polygon, I'd like to hear your reasons for deciding against relationships.
By the way... who is Onan?

[8] And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.
[9] And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.
[10] And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.

Funny--I've never heard of the term onanism, although I have heard of coitus interruptus. Now if I hear someone say "onanism", I'll know what they're talking about.

I'd also like to point out that having sex before marriage doesn't ruin the experience.. It, in fact, shows you that sex is meaningless. It's just the act of inserting meat inside of meat and rubbing it together to produce meat. That's it.
As for condoms as presents.. I find that a good idea. If we encourage teenagers to buy condoms they'll actually use them more. This is evident in places such as Europe.
I noticed someone posted something that seemed to be a bit.. against the idea of masturbation being a substitute. I'd like to point out that nobody needs to be told how to masturbate. We all know it by nature. Even babies do it. Even non-human animals can do it, and I don't see any bunny on bunny porn for all those horny little rabbits!
And as for the comment that "...Usually, it's the sexually-active ones that have sex".. That would count for every single guy in the world. From the moment of birth we are all sexually active, only it takes a while for our bodies, both physically and mentally, to mature enough for sex.
"Kinsey's data indicated that 92% of males reported having masturbated, as opposed to 62% of females. Kinsey also noted that "Masturbation was the most important sexual outlet for single females and the second most important sexual outlet for married females, providing 7-10% of orgasms for those 16-40." Kinsey also noted that "In males, masturbation after marriage occurred with reduced frequency." Other statistics indicated 68% of males and 50% of females had engaged in premarital sex. 37% of males and 13% of females had instances of at least one homosexual experience that resulted in orgasm. It's no wonder the Kinsey Report was controversial in the late '40s — and it continues to engender discussion even today. Even the masturbation stats were controversial. After all, if 92% of males had masturbated, why should one be ashamed of it?"(Source)
