I think this is where I got stuck too on my playthrough. Demonlink and Jamian clarified: "You can get there by using the stairs on the rightmost screen of the outside area. Go all the way down and follow the path."

Now that I thought about it, you are maybe not there yet if you lack the longshot.. if that's the case, exploration should get you the necessary progress needed. The really cryptic part for me was what I pointed above.

So there is a longshot. Okay, I will go looking for it. Thank you very much for your help.

If I recall correctly, it's somewhere on the last basement floor. It's hidden by a bombable wall. Tip: There is no need to guess where you need to bomb, the wall is already bombed on the other side...

There´s an unvisited area north of bug net house. Is it possible to reach that by rafting ?

No, you reach those screens later once you have the flippers.

Is it possible to use a key out of order in Sideview Hills.  I think I may have used one out of order and I cannot make it anywhere.  There are a few spots I seem to be able to go If I could jump higher or had a hookshot point, but I cannot seem to make any headway in the area.

 

Edit:  I think it got it figured out  saw something I missed after a few days of not playing

hello! I've been playing this quest and really enjoying it! 

 

however i'm pretty stuck in the grave after having finished the monastery, I genuinely cannot figure out the 4 number code to access the rest of it nor find any hints... 

 

any tips?

Immediately from the entrance screen, you can also go left and right. Take a look at these three immediately-accessible rooms on your space-bar map and you should see four numbers. You don't have to count tiles or anything unusual like that, but rather you should see actual number characters.

where do i find this compass in the stray woods?, checked all screens and no luck.

 

nvm found and got to a dun bgeopn entrace with a p[asscode to it.

 

Uum what do i need to damage the death mini boss cant use sword on it, am i missing du ngeon item somewhere.

Once you have the sword, a small area in the village will become accessible because you are now able to slash bushes. You will find the cheat code there.

Yeah, I got the code but I can't seem to apply it. I have tried a zillion different ways to input it. I assume IO use the "Cheat Code" pull down from the menu.

Do I use the letters or numerals?

Also, I have reassigned the control buttons, doeas that have any effect?

You just have to input that during the game (not in the menu). Directions and A/B buttons are whatever keys you have assigned them.
