How can I turn off the sword beam in the latest beta? I can't seem to figure it out.

Have you tried setting the sword beam hearts to 0%, >100%, <3 (heh heh) hearts, or >24 hearts? Other than that, I can't think of anything.

I tried putting Zero in the hearts when I was editing my quest in Build 18, and it still shot the beams. When the beams hit the enemies got hit by the beam, they were stunned!

So I have to try the other options.

They were stunned? Has this been reported? If not, you should report it.

Here's how to do it:

1. Set the first number to 200
2. Set the second number to 0
3. Make sure all the boxes are checked.

NO MORE BEAMS!

Should I upgrade to 528 now? It might be fixed in that.

I asked this already, Evan. This is if you are using Build 509

What wsuraider88 said seemed to fix it. And yeah, I am using 509.

Wow really? I guess I haven't really touched the builds past 254. I can't wait till the full 2.5.

It sounds like it wasn't a bug at all. Allow me to explain.
*When you set the beam hearts to 0, the game says "If Link's hearts are zero or above, he shoots sword beams." Since you can NEVER go below zero, Link will ALWAYS shoot beams.
*When you set the beam damage to zero, I'm pretty sure that ZQuest switched the sword beam's attributes to be more like a boomerang. Smart, in my opinion.
*When you set the beam hearts at 101% (PERCENT IS IMPORTANT) Link will NEVER fire beams, because Link can never be at 101% health.
It's really that simple. There was no bug to begin with, just confusing Misc. Data and Flags.

What Ebola said, but you can just forego the "101%" and just make it check for if you have 100 Hearts. That's what most people do when turning off the Sword Beam.
