In Build 509, there is a Wizzrobe called Summoner. What does he do?

1) Make the room.

2) Add at least one layer to the room, even if nothing is on the layer.

3) Put the Summoner in the room.

4) Put enemies... ANY enemies you want... on the screen that's the layer.

5) Open ZC.

6) Kill that Wizzrobe fast before the room becomes flooded in whatever enemy was on the Layer screen! icon_lol.gif

He summons the enemies differently, though. The Bat-Robe summons bats onto where he's standing. When the Summoner summons, they land on any random spot on the screen (except for where you're standing).

And yes, you can even summon boss enemies. Try making a Summoner that summons Manhandla2s. icon_eek.gif

I don't know if you'll be able to summon Ganon, though. I wouldn't try it, personally.

Thanks, I'll do that. BTW What layer do you have to use when the Summoner summons his minions?

Any. Doesn't really matter. I think, however, that the enemy-layer screen has to be BLANK if you want any summonings. Otherwise, either nothing will happen (the summoner warping about, failing to summon) or the layer screen will act like a normal layer, if you put combos on it.

Actually, it doesn't matter whether or not the layer has combos on it at all.

I can confirm that.

Can you have a summoner summon a summoner that summons different enemies than the first/main summoner?

Okay, maybe a bit confusing. I mean like this:

Summoner1 > layerA (Stalfos, Darknut, Summoner2)
Summoner2 > layerB (gel, keese)

The summoner2 always summons "layer A" enemies and neither summon "layer B" enemies.

All summonners use every layer with enemies. They will summon the same thing no matter what. I think.

What if you made a summoner that just summoned summoners??

I don't think that it works. Lemme check.

EDIT: Yes, it does. And the results are INSANE. I had a screen full of Wizzrobes at the end. Good thing I got the clock!

That sounds mighty insane! I'm gonna have to put a room with that in my quest! It's gonna be great.

Well, not as great as you'd think. Since they don't summon onto Link's position or use projectiles, they really can't damage you unless you walk right into them. icon_shrug.gif

I have an idea.

1) Make a part of the Quest where you have to slash a monkey to continue.

2) Make a copy of the Summoner Wizzrobe that looks like a monkey.

3) Have the screen insta-warp Link to a duplicate screen with the Monkey-Robe.

4) Monkey mad! Monkey call upon his Monkey friends to keel joo! Oooh! Kiki!

...Or BUNNIES! Gotta be bunnies! Get two together and there's no stopping 'em! icon_lol.gif

Or just put a summoner on the screen then put one on the layer along with a stalfos. Now that would get tricky.
