I'm using ZC 2.10. I put a direct tile on the floor and did this exact thing: >Data> tile warp>set the type to insta-warp>Set the Dmap to the Dmap I wanted and set the screen to the screen I wanted.
I tested it and I went to the right room but I stayed in the same Dmap. I have tried setting it over and over to the right things that I wanted but it won't work, and when I press "Go" on the configure tile warp screen I end up going to the right screen but wrong Dmap again!
So for a long time now I havent been able to figure out the problem. Could I get some help guys?
Question,Why can't I warp to different Dmaps?

Are you sure the dmap you're warping to is set to the right map?
Right screen but wrong dmap... if it was the other way round I'd think you might have offset the dmap boundaries...
I'd have to take a look at the quest myself to see for sure.

The tile type is direct warp and I start at D map 1 and I'm trying to go to D map 40. at first I tried to make it D map 2 but changed it to 40. It still didnt work!

I'm still confused! I changed the first screen that you warp from to screen 10 now instead of one but it still warps back to screen 1!

I really don't know what's wrong here... I think some screenshots would help.

I think I know what's wrong. Check the DMap settings of the one you are trying to warp to. Make sure the map that the DMap is on is the map you wanted to go to. As far as I can tell that's what you want to do.
