In Build 509, I'm using the Classic Tileset. Link slashes his sword, firing a beam from it. Is there a way I can deactivate it?

find the item properties section. It should be in there.

Well yes. Go to the Item Editor, choose a sword item, then uncheck Flag 1 and set Misc 1 to something higher than the maximum number of heart containers Link can have (which is 24).
Oh, and Old-Skool, the item Properties Section no longer exists. You have to go to items, then choose a sword item, and edit the data section for the sword that you picked.

No, that only controls how powerful the sword beam is.

Fuzzyman, that would be Misc 2 that determines the beam power for the sword. Misc 1 determines the Beam Hearts.
Another thing you can do is keep Flag 1 checked, and set the percentage (Misc 1) to something higher than 100% (at least I think it'll work).
Well, here's the Misc Attributes for the sword:

Thanks, Pokegamer! I figured it out.
Beam Hearts data was at 0, that's why it kept shooting beams. The B.H. & B.D. are percents data were unchecked. I clicked default and it resets to this:
Beam Hearts: 100
and the B.H./B.D. is Percents were checked.
It wasn't set in the way it was supposed to be.
(Man, I gotta spend more time with the newer Builds! )
