This is probably a longshoot but try this program and see if you can restore the file before this header problem happened or what not. Clicky! Now Turbon714 originally posted this up in General Computer Discussion/Aid and said it can't restore corrupted files but the site it self says it can so I would just give a try just in case it works, and if it doesn't well it didn't no harm no fowl right?

How are you suppose to find QST files with this?
I can't find anything on QST files.

(Yes, I checked every single file for them to check.)

go to filter and you can type in .qst files! I said the same thing when I opened it up, Turbon714 said he recovered one of his qst files with it. But I got this program that deletes your hard drive 100% so mine was totally lost. just type in .qst and search, as long as its on you hard drive you should be able to find it, if not ask Turbon714 how cause he seemed to get it to work.

It's not looking for any QST files.
I clicked on "Filter"
typed in:
".qst"

I click on "Start Search > Complete Search > My folder > Clicked on everything > Start.
nothing.

Edit, do you know the full adress of the folder it was in example:
CODE
c:documentsandsettings/....../.../zc/?
cause you can type in the folder to look in!

Yeah it is the program in the link you posted! and the filter button, shows up right after, you search, and the only reason I really pm'd you was to find out how you found yours, so I could tell ninelives, but you already pm'd ninelives, so yeah, but any who mine is irretrievably because I have a program that wipes the hard drive 100% every time I did the searches All I got was windows files no personal data what so ever! But I am sure ninelives hasnt done that! So I hope that ninelifes finds the qst file!

You two are talking abou TWO SEPERATE PROGRAMS

anyway, they don't help.
The one that I am able to scan for .qst files, can restore only 64 KB, that's right, and my quest is about 3000 kb. So wtf.

And there's that Old Header Error again.

WHAT CAUSED THIS MADNESS?????????????
