Eventually... I will get somewhere on this project. It's hard to get motivated due to instability in the living/working/schooling situation. I've had to put this off, as I'm going back to school for a second BS degree (in computer science.) So I'm doing a lot of work, it's just not on ZC, regrettably. But I'm still excited to work on it -- when I'm not sitting at the computer, that is.

Work log updates for last few months:
::October 16, 2013::{
Started work on cows. Finished profile by modifying horse tiles. Cows have a more "box-like" frame. Also, it seems really simple to cut young animals out of the bigger ones (at least in profile.) Only minor shading corrections are necessary.
}

::November 24, 2013::{
More progress on cow body.
}

::March 15, 2014::{
Well, it's been a while. No progress due to move and school, and also no internet. It's very hard to write code without internet, and there hasn't been much motivation to do graphics. But today I'm bored! So let's see what can be done. Maybe make progress some animals or backgrounds...
Added three new interior carpets. (Feature creep, drat!)
Edited some dialogue.
Finally finished the cow. I may come back and make a classic spotted version, but it's tricky.
}
::April 12, 2014::{
Took another look at my scripts. They are in better shape than I remember, and the hierarchy is easier to understand than expected, but it's hard to know what the arguments are for things like DrawTile() and FastTile(), as they are not in std_functions.zh.
As far as scripting priorities go, the STFairy, STLamp, and STSignpost scripts need to be wrapped up and made functional, as they are core functionality. After that, STGustJar, STDoors, and STShop are next. Lastly, STLift, STWeather, and STMotion.
}

Oh, here's a teaser of some of my animated doors:

I love those doors!

But why is it that this quest only looks like a collection of tiles right now?

Yes, it'd be really interesting to see some more ingame screenshots using all of these nice looking tiles you got :D

...Most of the quest is on paper, that's why. I have the story, dialog, maps, progression, etc., all planned out already.

I just need a tileset and some scripts to put it into a playable format, and that's taking a long time. Slow and (sometimes) steady progress... But I only have one palette at the moment, and I'm not sure it's very good, so screenshots will have to wait. :(
