Oh come on, can't we procrasinate about what would be nice to have without being told off because of the feature freeze?

Just because people think those features would be nice, doesn't mean that they're pestering for them to be added right now.

^ I agree, One thing i would like is to be able to choose were the npc's are located in the tile sheet. For that would make it a whole lot easer to make an organized tilesheet!

I too would love for the ability to detect which item is in which slot (If any, at least!) for use in scripts, and the ability to press Delete to delete a Palette or Cset. I'm surprised that with as much progress ZC has made, not to mention the fact that you can do it with Dmaps already, it's not in. Eh.

Like all things, it can wait.

Bugfixes.
Easier GUI to prevent the n00bs from asking questions like how to load a custom quest.

Hmm... I think some good things to have would be:

-Press delete to delete a cset/palette
-User-friendly enemy management
-Same as above, but with items
-Side-view ladders
-Bottomless pits

Bottomless pits wouldn't be too difficult right? I mean we already have drowning... icon_confused.gif But watever. I've got to remember about the feature freeze.

I think all we need for that is to have a "Help" menu in ZC/ZQuest which would open up the ZQuest Faq, rather than have it be set to an obscure Function key.

Scripting scripting scripting. Side view ladders and bottomless pits have already been scripted. Scripting is the future of ZC.

Russ, that's great and all, but as I said before, built in features will ALWAYS be better than scripted features.

I would love a simpler and more efficient way to mass combo tiles! Yes, I know about the method of pressing M when looking through tiles, but even then you have to go through them to assign walkability/flags/etc.

A stable release.
We are 20 bugs away from a stable release. 20 bugs! Only 20 bugs remain to be squashes before beta 18! Then hopefully soon afterwards, 2.5!

Edit: Post 200!

We're back up to 22 again icon_frown.gif

You can put NPCs anywhere you like in the tileset ennonfennom icon_confused2.gif

Also, have you actually used any scripts Ebola?
Although hard-coded features are admittedly better, scripting is so much more flexible.
And we can also do something with it right now, and it doesn't rely on waiting for someone else to add a feature if you can do it yourself.

I believe I said any were in the tilesheet not tileset. If you know how to change the location of lets say npc5 standing from were it is located in the tilesheet to were ever I want in the tilesheet. Do tell! If this is true I retract my previous post and change it to *a stable build* icon_sweat.gif

The feature freeze is a lie, if you notice, they're still implementing features... they just stopped taking suggestions. icon_shrug.gif

Actually, most of the developers are really trying to stop the implantation of features. But somehow a lot of features manage to slip in.
