HAPPEH NEW YEAR! And with a new year, comes a new Link! I don't care too much for the Classic set itself, HOWEVER, I do like messing with 8-bit sprites icon_smile.gif, so I figured, why not make another Link that people could throw into the classic set? Here's what I have so far:

More eye-candy to come, and I might even make a custom tileset with these in it! Comments/Suggestions/Praise WANTED! $1000 Bounteh!

Dang son, great job. Zelda II is one of my favorite Zeldas, so naturally, these are great. Just make some hammer-using sprites, and I'll be quite happy. icon_smile.gif

Thanks guys! With these sprites, I'll be looking out for my scripting buddies, so don't worry about things such as falling not making it in. I have some updates (refresh, and see first post):

-Slash Tiles
-Idle Tiles
-Hurt Tiles
-Roc's Cape Tiles
-Jump "End" Tiles
-Swimming/Diving Tiles

These have a certain charm about them that I can't quite put my finger on, perhaps like a mix of LA Link and 8-bit. I really like them, well done icon_thumbsup.gif

Can you draw this for the "Flip right-facing slash" rule?

Koh, you're custom title should be "Master of the Link tiles". Those are awesome! Although, the Ring pallettes look kinda off. I think Zelda 2 had a speel that turned you red, you should look at that for them and try something similar. However, other than that, they are incredibly awesome.

The last one is for the last ring, obviously. people come to like purple link, so I thought it'd be nice to use purple, but if not, you can use gold too. Mind you these are from the NES Palette(which I have sitting on my computer, I picked colors from it) You can rip it's palette so you can see the color values, too.

Thanks, I really appreciate it! The thing is, though, I got these colors (except for blue) from TLoZ:Blade of the Ancients. I'm gonna try using that blue for the tunic color icon_wink.gif. Those other colors would make a useful alternate, however.
