I read rocksfan13's first post at Lost Isle by : DarkFlameWolf & Peteo, Quest review topic.
But I can't understand what is "chicken way out tactics".
What is it?

I think that would translate to 軟弱路線. It means something like an easy way of doing something—or avoiding doing something—that should be difficult.

With the context of the post, I am assuming he means stunning the enemies and running to the next screen.
Pretty sure you have to wait until after level 2 for the boomerang in LI anyways.

CORRECTION: You have to get the Power Rod IN Level 2. Then, you could leave, and get the boomerang. Sorry to be a bother, but I couldn't let such a blatant (I know I spelt it wrong) error go unnoticed.
