[Daemon]

What's you favorite game series out of what's given, simple as that. Mine is the Legend of Zelda, not much of a surprise since OoT was my first game I ever played (at the age of three...)

How one can have a "Favorite Video Game Series" topic without stuff like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City/San Andreas and Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat? And what about Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? Oh, and God of War, Gears of War. Assassins Creed?

I chose Zelda, which would be my favorite even if these others were available... but I guess this is a "Which of these is your favorite?" more than a "Favorite of all time?"... something you even said in your first post, so disregard my entire rant. Ahahah!

But yeah, Zelda rocks my boat. Always.

I chose Metroid, even though I would have chosen something else if there weren't primarily Nintendo games.

My list could go on, but I'll give a few:
- Zelda: The exploration is what wins Zelda for me, really. I love exploring, using items and finding treasure.
- Mario: Classic side-scrolling. Need I say more?
- Metroid (I tend to prefer the 2D ones) Pretty much the same reason I like Zelda.
- Disgaea: I love the characters, insanely high levels and damage. 1 and 3 being my favorite. 2's characters weren't my cup of tea though.
- Touhou (What a surprise. ) I love the difficulty of these games.
- R-Type: I recently started playing R-Type, and am in love with these games.
- Gradius: Again, didn't start playing these until recently, but I really like these.

There's more...I just can't remember them off hand.

My favorite out of all of them is Metroid.

Sonic took a turn for the worst after the Genesis, in my opinion, and Zelda can't match the performance OoT and MM gave us, and slowly going down hill as well.

Metroid seems to be going in the right direction, or at least, thats what I think. Retro did a good job with the Prime series, and I have high expectations for Other M.

This topic shouldn't have been a poll. There's a bit more than nine video game Series in existence, and Nintendo isn't the only company in the world.

Anyway, aside from Zelda, the Half Life series is the best. Ever.

Well that's why there's an other option. Although I guess you may have been right, because there indeed are too many to name.

Tough choice, I chose Zelda. I almost went with DK though.

It still currently stands at Legend of Zelda. It seems like my faith in the series has shaken a bit recently, but it's got a strong enough past to fall back on. In fact, out of all the games on that list, Zelda probably has the strongest past. Either that or Mario.

Mother/Earthbound. How could I forget that? I love the Mother games; they're so strange yet so fun.
