As the title suggests, I'm looking to be needlessly flashy and have link produce different sound effects when walking on a variety of terrain. I'm thinking having it on a per-screen basis, with the first 7 D variables (this should be flexible though, meaning the script could be easily edited (if possible) to alter what D variable does what) being the combo numbers that would produce sound, while the last one is a SFX slot number. Within the script, there should be a variable that can be set whether the script uses either just that SFX, or a random selection of the next x SFX slots.

I think that covers it. Thoughts? Don't let this topic just sink to the bottom, a reply would be nice, preferable feedback from a scripter on the complexity or issues with this request.

At the very worst, it -might- have to be a global script with two chunks of variables. The first chunk corresponds to combo numbers, and the second chunk to SFX slot numbers. The first combo variable would correspond to the first SFX variable, and so forth.
