Hey y'all. Thought you guys might enjoy seeing someone playing this with fresh eyes from outside of the ZC community.

 

Let's Play The Fourth Quest, Blind  (Playlist, parts 1-10 already up).

 

It starts off a bit rough as I have some weird AV sync issues, but hopefully you guys will find this entertaining.

I caught a bit of it earlier while I was multitasking so I obviously only caught the jist of a few dungeons, but I had to leave you this post just to say that I've never seen anyone get their ass kicked so hard from an NES-style average-difficulty quest, ever. Not trolling or anything, just stating a fact. The sky is blue, the sun is round, and you got pwned.



-Also, fun fact: This quest was actually made by two people. There was a tie with the top two contestants, so they were combined - the overworld from one, and the dungeons from the other.

So you should have been bitching about two people the entire time!

Part 11 is up

Haha, no worries. I'm not very good, and I know it. I'm coming at this from the perspective of an "average" gamer who played Zelda a lot as a kid but is far from expert/hack level good. Incidentally it smooths out quite a bit once I get some freaking items.

FYI, the series is finished. Despite my gripes and early troubles I managed to beat the quest, and even learned how to make decent videos by the end. Brutal honestly and hilarious failures all around.
