as far as I can tell, the level 1 amulet lets you see invisible enemies, the level 2 one does nothing more than that.

In other words, just use the level 1 amulet.

Quick semi-related question: What does the Amulet Lv2 actually do, or what was it originally intended for?

Why use Hover Boots when you can use this?

Oh no, i was just saying that if you're using the 2.5 betas, Roc's Cape is so much better than the Hover boots. If you're using the classic set you're better off with the hover boots though.

Yes, Classic refers to the original Zelda tileset, along with ZC's expansion of it. (AKA NES Graphics)

I belive the level 1 amulet was meant to only allow you to see "blurry" invisible enemies, while the level 2 amulet would have let you se 100% transparent enemies... which weren't really used.

Before anyone confuses you further, darkking2, Yes! You can use the hover boots in the 2.5 betas. The roc's cape script requires you to understand how to set up and import a script. If you choose to use the roc's cape script, you should check the scripting forum for how to import scripts.

Make sure you look around the pinned topics before you post a question. icon_smile.gif

its a built in item. It's an equipment item.

If you're playing overhead, you need to jump with the roc's feather first.

Side view, you can just walk off an edge.

no, there is a weapon/misc sprite you got to set. The glow that appears under Link when he hovers. Other than that, no special tiles are needed.
