Why was our two week one a success? I mean, the four week failed (on two sites) and now the three week looks like it's not going to get but a couple or so finished results.
I guess when it's two weeks people aren't procrastinating or losing interest too fast to actual get a product complete. Or maybe I just cursed these type of contests after the two week.

Because you spent longer planning it out, doing it 'officially', having a host forum for it.
This one hasn't been well organised, and has therefore fallen apart.
It's the same as what happened with Migo's 'Tileset Competition'.
He didn't set strict enough guidelines, and so it didn't work.
