I noticed a lot of people mentioning SMBX. There's also Mario Builder, which has a LOT of content in it...

Here's something no-one's mentioned yet. Super Mario Flash!

I tried Super Mario Flash also. It is a good editor for Super Mario Brothers 1 and Super Mario World.

To a lesser extent, there is also that Mari0 Portal game. http://stabyourself.net/mari0/

Includes a reasonable level editor (Some features are buggy)

Other than Super Mario Bros. X, there's this pretty cool program called Lunar Magic, that allows people to make different levels in the SMW world rom, but nothing fancy

If it has a big and creative community behind and the physics are close to the original Super Mario Bros., I will be very excited.

I want to say at E3 they did in fact say it uses the physics engine of the original game, though I wouldn't be surprised if it had options for different physics down the line.

Wow, I'm super impressed that Nintendo actually did this. Like.. wow. This is really cool. It even looks like SMB Utility. IS this its own thing, or part of SMB:U?

So guys, what if this is it, what if they shut down ZC cause they want to make money off of a Zelda Maker?  :tard:

There's a new trailer.

I think it looks great! Looks like you're able to make vertical levels too, and I like how you can change between the original Mario Bros style, the Super Mario Bros 3 style, Super Mario World and the New Super Mario Bros style.

Saw this back when it came out during the Game Awards. All I have to say is I'm loving its look, but am hoping for physics options; from what I hear, only Mario 1's physics are available, and no, no I do not want to play SMB3/SMW/NSMB-skinned levels with those awful physics.

Yeah true. There was one part where he wall-jumped though! I wonder if that's only possible in the New Super Mario Bros skin?

One can hope, though maybe they're just incorporating new moves into each skin; it wouldn't make much sense to be able to complete a level in one skin only to change skins and be unable to complete it. Unless the physics do change with each skin, and when you finish a level, you lock it into that skin so it doesn't get changed... I dunno.

Yeah I already saw the new trailer, I was pretty shocked when they added Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World, so yeah, looking forward for more Nintendo! :D
