Well, actually not far from completion, either.

I decided to do it as a side project to my GB tileset.

two cave sets have been taken already(buy both I mean the square rock caves that includes the first cave, Mimiga Village, Balcony, and Sacred Grounds, and the round rock caves which includes the Plantation, Last Cave, and outerwall)

My purpose for making a Cave Story tileset isn't because I plan to make a Cave Story Game in ZC. I plan to expand on it and make a side scrolling tileset with Cave Story as the base, building upon it whenever I could to make it better and all that.

I like the idea. With side-scrolling, custom subscreens, an' all that other ****, a Cave Story quest is (or will be [maybe, eventually...]) quite possible.

Hmm.. I would like to see a Cave Story set in ZC even though I won't use it. It'll be quite interesting to see how your going to make this quest work too with all the required scripting.

Its almost possible right now, and even then it would require a HEAVEY use of scripting. Your limited by screen size(the biggest of Cave Story maps can be as big as 99x99 16x16 tiles, or 1584x1584 pixels

I'm not making a quest with it, I'm just making the tileset for someone else to use, although it does come included with CDawg's Jump Script as a global script(meaning you don't need to keep making freeform combos with the script in it just to get him to jump on every screen.) The jump is much faster than the original jumping system in Cave Story, but it has to do, it jumps the same height, at least.

Little update

ALL the square and round rock tilesets have been put together.

I ripped all the sand zone and core tiles and put them in too, surprisingly a lot of the sand zone tiles work in the core pallete
