Currently playing this, here's my thoughts on the intro:

Dat typo though.

 

That fisherman's neck is ready to snap.

That fisherman is still fishing, he is far from dead.

 

Anyways, will give more of my input later, this quest seems pretty neat.

 

A gripe I have with this is honestly the sprite design. It doesn't inherently hurt the quest, persay, but if you plan on updating the quest in the future to fix the bugs, do you also intend on cleaning up some of the sprite work to seem more fitting in the GB style?

At level 3 so far, mainly just misspellings and animation errors.

 

There's no animation for climbing ladders and sometimes you don't sink in water

 

I thought it was kind of cool how you could interact with crap in the beginning

UPDATE: I play tested it once again, on level 8 right now, levels 1-7 are bug free.

I think I'm going to nerf the L2 gohmas. They're too strong.

There's a bug in level 9. I forgot to make the puzzle temporary.

I fixed all the bugs and play tested it. Since no one is responding to this topic anymore, I guess it's a good idea to post it in the database now...

in the devils palace, is this puzzle supposed to be temporary or do i need to do something else before coming back to this one? i assume that it is supposed to be a temp (its not) and to use the dash. i could be wrong though.

Speaking of Devil's Palace...

 

This chest was supposed to give me a key, but it didn't. I had to use ZQuest to give myself a key because I was stuck otherwise.

Fixing that bug, forgot to check for screen state not to carry over special items, thanks for letting me know.

Fixed it, the updated version should come out shortly. Sorry about the bug.

Besides the spelling errors, since they don't really bother me much, this is a great quest. The music selection is amazing too!

 

EDIT: Found another bug in that Devil's Palace. I was going to go and get the Lv2 Quiver, but the chest seems already opened and I never got it...

This chest was supposed to give me a key, but it didn't. I had to use ZQuest to give myself a key because I was stuck otherwise.

The same thing happened to me, i just reloaded from the last save and it worked the second time around. :/
