Would it be possible to make a script that warps to the title screen every time you start the game, like all 'real' games? It's a shame to only see your title screen once in the entire game.
The script should be simple: on start, warp to the designated screen while saving the number of the DMap and/or the screen that you left. After a set amount of time, a timed warp is normally activated sending you to the beginning of the quest but the script instead warps you to your last location a moment before.
Not too hard, I hope?
Always show title screen on startup?

Dunno if your way works, but as for if it is possible: EoA for instance does start with the Titlescreen everytime you start it. Thus, it's possible. I don't know how Joe feels about sharing any scripts before EoA is finished (though I am quite certain that he wanted to submit all scripts when EoA is finished).

That actually doesn't sound hard at all. I can give it a go sometime, and I'll try to get back to you with the results tomorrow.

Sure. There are 3 global script slots for that reason. ~inti, ~global_scope, ~continue. Shouldn't be too hard.

Just so you know, I have gotten work done on this. Things aren't exactly working the way I want them to, for one reason or another, but it shouldn't be long.
Just a question though, do you want it like in most Zeldas where you appear at the last entrance after the title screen, or do you want to appear on the last screen you were on?

Traditional style: Continue screen of last DMap. Nothing too fancy.

Okay, that makes things easier then. Once I work around a small problem, it'll be done. (For some reason, it'll write to two global variables once, but never again... So I've got to figure out what I'm doing wrong. )
