First off I have to say THANK YOU for making these zelda games.

I been looking to the Zelda Classic Beta Release of Z Quest and i really like what i see. Lots of new Items, Make your own items and so on.

Heres my suggestions and Ideas.


New Monster:


Wizards: Wizzrobe

Dark Wizard: Summons Normal khights.

Hex Wizard: Summons Blue khights.

Slayer Wizard: Moves like the blue wizards but attack with a sword.

Necro Wizard yellow: Summons Skeletons.

Necro Wizard blue: Summons ghosts.

Arch Wizard: Summons blue Wizzrobes.

Invisible Wizard: Like blue Wizzrobes but need the cross to see them.

Death Wizard: Much Stronger then Blue and uses a 4 way magic attack.

Ice Wizard: Ice attacks Damage and stuns.

Fire Wizard: Fire attacks.



Knights: Dark Nuts

Green Knights: Strong has blue knight and uses Dash attack. Like snakes do.

Red Knights: Strong has blue knights and has sword beam attack.

Purple Knights: 2x as Strong has blue knights.

Chain and ball knights: Long and wide Swipe attack and Stronger then blue knights.

Death Knights: Super powerful knights. Golden sword upgrade or higher can only hurt them. they have 4 way sword beam attack and Dash attack.

Slayer: Knights that use magic attacks like Blue Wizards.

Grey Knights: Throws Bombs.


Ironknuckle Knights: Armor Like Dark Nuts. But Attacks with a sword like Link.

Ironknuckle Yellow: Strong has yellow Dark Nuts. Sword attack damage of 1 sword.
IronKnuckle Blue: Strong has Blue Dark Nuts. Sword attack damage of 2 white sword.
IronKnuckle Red: Strong has Blue Dark Nuts. Sword attack damage of 3 Magic sword and has sword beams.
IronKnuckle Black: Stronger then Blue Dark Nuts. Sword attack damage of 3 Magic sword and has sword beams. And has Cylone attack.
IronKnuckle Death: 3x has strong has Blue Dark Nuts. Sword attack damage of 3 Magic sword and has 4 way sword beams. And has Cylone attack. Must have Golden sword upgrade to hurt them.


Bird Knights: Armor Like Dark Nuts. But attacks with Boomerangs.
Yellow Bird Knight: Throws Basic Boomerang. Strong has yellow Dark Nuts.
Blue Bird Knight: Throws Magic Boomerang. Strong has Blue Dark Nuts.
Red Bird Knight: Throws Fire Boomerang. Stronger then Blue Dark Nuts.


Daira: Alligator like creatures that use Powerful axes to attack with. Cant be blocked by normal shield, Higher level shields and Diamond Shield can block attacks. Depends on type and level of monster..

Daira Yellow: Cant be blocked by Normal shield. Can be blocked by Magic, Mirror and Diamond.
Daira Blue: Cant be blocked by Normal, Magic shield. Can be blocked by Mirror and Diamond.
Daira Red: Cant be blocked by Normal, Magic, Mirror shield. Can be blocked by Diamond.
Daira Black: Throws Axes. Cant be blocked by Normal, Magic, Mirror shield. Can be blocked by Diamond.




Slimes:

Lava Slime: Shoots fire. Weakness to ice attacks.

Gorge: Huge Slime. Harder then Big Bot slime Each hit brakes it down and get smaller. From 1 to 4 to 8

Gout: Slime that trys to suck you in.


Others:

Cyclops: Throws Bombs.
Smasher: Cyclops with hammers.
Ball & Chain Skeleton:. Long and wide Swipe attack.
Energy Keese: Bats that shoots energy beams.
Fire Golem:
Deku Golem:
Sword Ghost:
Overgrown Octoroc: More hit points but slower. Attacks do more damage.
Arch Mummy: Stronger then normal Mummy.
Goriya Black: Uses Fire Boomerang.
Armos Red: Has sword beam.
Armos Black: Very strong and 4 way sword beam.
Lanmola Green: Very long snake monster. Strong has blue but twice as long.
Lanmola Black: Very long snake monster. Twice has strong has blue and 3 times has long.
Leever spiked: Stronger then the blue ones. And ramdomly sprays out spikes.
Gar: Giant eye balls. Need bow to kill.
Spikethrower: Throws Spike balls at you at a fast rate.

Power Bracelet: Moves Boulders

Titan mitt: Moves Blue Blocks

Titan mitt Level 2: Moves Dark Blue Blocks

Titan Gauntlet: Moves Red Blocks

Titan Gauntlet Level 2: Moves Dark Red Blocks


Ladders:

Basic step ladder:

Universal Step ladder: The basic ladder you can only walk forward but this ladder you can move sideways at any angle.


Candles Or Lamps:

Blue Candle:

Red Candle:

White Candle: More Damage then Red. Idea!! Need to have it to see in dark world. A under World Land. See more Below


Swords:

Normal Sword Lvl 1: Damage in ZQ 1. No Beam

White Sword Lvl 2: Damage in ZQ 2. No Beam

Magic Sword Lvl 3: Damage in ZQ 4. Beam

Master Sword Lvl 4: Damage in ZQ 8. Beam

Golden Power a Master Sword Upgrade 1 Lvl 5: Damage in ZQ 11. Beam

Cosmic Aura a Master Sword Upgrade 2 Lvl 6: Damage in ZQ 14. Beam



Hook Shots:

Normal Hook Shot: Range Half Screen

Level 2 Hook Shot: Range Full screen

Spike Ball addon for lvl 2: Adds damage 2

Normal Bow: Power in ZQ 1

Long Bow: Power in ZQ 3

Mega Bombs: A bit more power with more range but longer fuse.

Bombchu: Bomb on wheels.

Blue Bomb Bags Normal:
Blue Bomb bag: Hold up to 8 bombs.
Blue Bomb bag lvl2: Hold up to 12 bombs.
Blue Bomb bag lvl3: Hold up to 16 bombs.
Blue Bomb bag lvl4: Hold up to 20 bombs.
Blue Bomb bag lvl5: Hold up to 24 bombs.
Magic Blue Bomb bag: Hold up to 50 bombs.

Red Bomb Bag Super:
Red Bomb bag: Hold up to 4 Super Bombs.

Green Bomb Bag Mega:
Green Bomb bag: Hold up to 2 Mega Bombs.

Mystic Armor: A full set of ancient elven armor. It could look like Warhammer 40K Grey knights armor. And make link take less damage.

Wand: A Basic long range magic attack. Can be upgraded.

Power Axe: A new weapon. Has the damage of the magic sword. It has a wider range of the slash attack. Lower Attack rate and can damage knights at any angle.

Cane of Somaria: Can damage monsters and use to make platforms.

Ice Rod and Fire Rod: Other magic weapons other then the Basic wand. Fire and Ice damage.

Roc's Feather: For jumping over pits that the ladder cant get pasted. Other uses With Boot spike to damage monsters and can learn a sword skill thrust down.

Boot spikes: Adds damage to jumping on monsters.

Magic Book: Add Fire Attack to the wand,

Grimoire of the ages: Lets you cast a spell that slows time down and you move normal for 1 screen. Uses Magic.

Ancient Tome: Adds more damage to magic weapons. Wand, Ice Rod, Fire Rod, Gem Spells, Candles, Staffs, Canes.

Magic Key: Infinite Keys.

Flippers: Lets you swim in water.

ZoraScale: Can stay under water. In a underwater world.

Zora's Flippers: Swim thru hard water currents.

Gust Jar: Suck in certain enemies, and pull off armor on other monsters.

Mole Mitts: Dig through certain surfaces.

Grip Ring: Climb up walls and crazy mountain paths.

Roc's Cape: Can fly over Huge Holes and gaps.


Magic Gems: Magic Spells Look at the Inventory thing i made. They could be selected using the top menu space.

The 3 Gems you had before. In Zelda classic

Fairy Gem: Turn you self into a fairy for one screen. Can pass thru small passgeways and cracks.

Earth Gem: Cause Earth quake Stun and damage monsters. other things to

Leach Gem: steal life from monsters and give it the you.

Haste Gem: Move faster for abit.



Charge rings: Lets you charge Gems and other Magic weapons and items.

Lvl 1 Charge ring:

Wand: Chargeing lvl 1 the wand adds more damage. Uses more magic.

Fairy Gem: Chargeing lvl 1 this gem will summon a Fairy to fight monsters for 1 screen. Uses more magic.

Haste Gem: Chargeing lvl 1 this gem will make you move even faster. Uses Lots of magic.



Skills Scrolls: Skills that can be found to add attack bonus and other things all so you could add item requirements to use certain skills.

Scrolls in inventory: When you find a better scroll it replaces and old one like Super Slash lvl 1 replaces Slash lvl 2 skill and Master Beam lvl 1 replaces Hyper Beam lvl 2 and so on. So you dont fill up your inventory.

Chargeing skill types: This could be based on secret of mana attacks. Must hold attack down to charge attack levels one after the other. Or Just the normal new zelda classic game code.


Chance skill types: % type skills based on chance.


Auto Skill types: Skills that allways work. Like Slash


Key Press skill types: Useing keys or items. Like Thurst Down





Sword Skills Scrolls:


Basic Attack Skills:

Slash: Basic Zelda classic Slash. Auto skill.

Slash lvl 2: Adds some more damage to your sword attack about 2 points. Must have slash lvl 1 first. Auto skill.

Super Slash lvl 1: Adds a wider range to your sword attack. Must have Slash lvl 2. Auto skill.

Super Slash lvl 2: Adds faster attack speed with the sword. Must have Super Slash lvl 1. Auto skill.

Super Slash lvl 3: Adds some more damage to your sword attack about 4 points added. Must have Super Slash lvl 2. Auto skill.


Beam Upgrades:

Hyper Beam lvl 1: Swords Beam upgrade. Adds 5 damage points to beam. Must have Magic Sword. Auto skill.

Hyper Beam lvl 2: Swords Beam upgrade. Adds 10 damage points to beam. Must have Magic Sword. Must have Hyper Beam lvl 1. Auto skill.

Master Beam lvl 1: Swords Beam upgrade. Adds 15 damage points to beam and beams bounce of walls 1 time. Must have Master Sword. Must have Hyper Beam lvl 2. Auto skill.

Master Beam lvl 2: Swords Beam upgrade. Adds 20 damage points to beam and beams bounce of walls 2 times. Must have Master Sword. Must have Master Beam lvl 1. Auto skill.

Golden Beam: Swords Beam upgrade. Makes you fire two beams at once in a spread. Must have Golden Power a Master Sword Upgrade. Must have Master Beam lvl 2. Auto skill.

Cosmic Aura Beam: Swords Beam upgrade. Makes the Beam Bounce off monsters 2 times. Must have Cosmic Aura a Master Sword Upgrade 2. Must have Golden Beam. Auto skill.



Sword Spin Attacks:

Cylone attack: Links spin around sword attack. Chargeing skill.

Cylone attack lvl 2: Links spin around sword attack and shoots sword beams. Must have Cylone 1 first. Chargeing skill.

Typhoon attack: Uses the Cylone attack hit the button repeatedly to continue the spin attack. Must have Cylone attack lvl 1. Chargeing skill.


Other Attacks:

Down Thrust sword Attack: Jump using Roc's Feather and slam down on the monster. Adds 2 or 3 point of added damage. Required Items: Roc's Feather. Key Press skill.

Dash Attack: Link will dash while sticking his sword out to attack monsters. Adds 4 points of added damage. To use push the movement control forward three times and sword attack. Required Items: Magic boots. Key Press skill.

Cross Cut: Chance to hit two monsters at once with you sword. Chance skill. And so on with other levels and %

Crushing blow: Adds a chance to cause 5 points of added damage with your sword. Mabey 5 % for lvl 1. Chance skill.

Crushing blow lvl 2: Adds a chance to cause 5 points of added damage with your sword. Mabey 10 %. Must have Crushing blow. Chance skill. and so on with other levels and %.


Death Strike: When you have a half of a heart left and dieing. 50% chance to do 50 points of added damage with your sword. Chance skill.


Death Beam: When you have a half of a heart left and dieing. 50% chance to do 100 points of added damage with your sword Beam. Chance skill.



Shield Skills:

Shield Smash: When attacked from monsters. Ramdom Chance to attack monster with your shield. Chance skill.

Reflect master lvl 1: When attacked with range attacks it will bounce back and hit the monster. 10 % chance to hit back. Must have Mirror Shield. Chance skill.

Reflect master lvl 2: When attacked with range attacks it will bounce back and hit the monster. 20 % chance to hit back. Must have Mirror Shield. Must have Reflect master lvl 1. Chance skill.

Reflect master lvl 3 : When attacked with range attacks it will bounce back and hit the monster. 40 % chance to hit back. Must have Diamond Shield. Must have Reflect master lvl 2. Chance skill.




Bow and Arrow skills Scrolls:


Muli shot lvl 1: Hold and fire 2 arrows at once in a spread. Chargeing skill. Uses 2 arrows ammo.

Muli shot lvl 2: Hold and fire 3 arrows at once in a spread. Chargeing skill. Must have Muli shot lvl 1. Uses 3 arrows ammo.

Muli shot lvl 3: hold and fire 4 arrows at once in a spread. Chargeing skill. Must have Muli shot lvl 2. Uses 4 arrows ammo.


Reflect skill: Arrow bounces off wall one time. Auto skill.

Reflect skill lvl 2: Arrow bounces off wall two times. Must have Reflect skill lvl 1. Auto skill.




Hook Shot Skills Scrolls:

Grab Attack: Grabs and pulls monsters to you. Chargeing skill.



Hammer Skills:

Quake lvl 1 :

Some of these are already in (like the spin attacks), others can be made with enemy editor, item editor or scripting. The new 2.5 will allow you great customization, no need of asking for new hardcoded items and 1x1 enemies. However, after the stable 2.5 comes out, it will be the time to make things like Pegasus Boots and Cane of Somaria hardcoded, as well as some ALttP bosses. icon_unsettled.gif

A wide array of ideas, but unfortunately, PureZC isn't the place to post them.

Well, a lot of that stuff has already either been added or can be acomplished via item editor/enemy editor/scripting.

I just wanted to give the full list of items and stuff. And hopeing to see some of this stuff in newer Zelda Classic games.

I will post the list on the http://www.armageddongames.net/ site. Allso i come up with more ideas. New puzzle types, Dungen Traps.


Im sure there well be new stuff added when they fix it all up. Plus Zelda Classic is way more stable the open zelda engine.

If you have so many ideas, why don't you make a quest on the betas? As it was already stated, all of these are either hardcoded or easily can be made with enemy editor, item editor or scripting.

For example, spin attacks are already in, and they are learnable through scroll items. Also, there's already a summoner enemy hardcoded: it summon enemies from layer screens. I think there's another that always summons a certain type enemy. And with the enemy editor, you can change the speed, hitpoint, damage, weapon damage and projectile and even movement and other things... And there are other great freedoms. Just make a quest with them.

yeah all of that could be done with some clever enemy/item editing or scripting.

however it would be nice to have them hard-coded, wouldn't it?

i was thinking something more along the lines of swords that take more than just one tile... you know for detail purposes and really freakishly big swords lol

From what I understand, the ZC developers have closed off further suggestions for the new versions. They are not being accepted. Part of the reason for this is because they need to fill in a lot of the holes that exist before making any more.

Im making a Starter pack for beta. Its going to have about 30 added monsters. some are the old monsters but higher levels. People who are making quest can use this as a base. Basicly its a Quest flie with no maps but with new stuff.
