Well, my vote goes to Mr Z for his excellent attention to detail, forest scenery, light tiles, and mood-inducing layout. ^_^ I can't wait to play through that area.

I voted for Jonathan's first shot, but Mr. Z's would probably be a close second. But Jonathan's layout and the tiles themselves strike me more as beautiful. The first three shots are all similar in that they are entrances to big, imposing structures... Struck me as interesting. Jonathan's got good odds; he's got a 40% chance that I'll vote for him (4 entries plus null vote). Now Prince, did you say that the next Screenshot contest is SotYear?

I still have to say that I like IaN's the best out of all of the screenshots, no offence to anyone.

Sorry Mr.Z, I do not think your version of the Pure Tileset can withstand Johnathans and IaN's tileset.
I like the way you did the light trans.

Jonathan, your shots just rock... the tileset is just.. all that.
I like all of your shading and all the stuff, the way you added in that beach sand to your first pic on the right house.

IaN, yours.. just is plain unique, the monsters, the tiles and the uniqueness of your replacement of the map.

I like the graphics the most of everything but also uniqueness stands out for me.

IaN, no offence but I think the fence could do a redue of the color, maybe a blue, navy blue perhaps.
I think you used a bit to much brown, no offene but thats just my opinion.

I would call Mr Z.'s and Jonathan's #2 as about even, so I gave it to Jonathan for having a little more new content.

Now, will Jonathan split his vote and let somebody else slip past?... Let's see if it ends up being true that having two entries in SOTM can thwart your chances...

Jonathan #1. Although all four pay great attention to detail, I believe that the one I chose does this the best. Good work on the shadows, the roofs, the trees, and that star of david minimap. It not only looks medieval, but it feels medieval. Magnificent!

Heh, don't worry about it. It's just a quirk of voting. Besides, judging from the way things are going, you don't have anything to worry about anyway....I'm surprised your first one is the one that people like more, though. I guess others don't mind the shadows so much. Oh well.

I like IaN's shot. The dirt reminds me of WW... maybe becuase of the cartoony style... I also like the MC enemies.

Jonathan's first one is indeed pretty. I had to vote it. All the screenies are good, but Jonatha shot's have everything... good tiles, layout, colors, everything...
