Hmmm, what about making the white a bit of a dark grey shade? That would work perfectly.

->
Harena Desero, a desert located to the west of Eislynn Rios. (The dirt border on the stone tiles of the right image is a placeholder until I can find better ones). The second image leads to Harena Palace, the oasis/palace/dungeon of this area. Fun fact, quicksand combos are drownable

I bring you "Natura Hortus", (which roughly translates to Nature's Garden). Before you start jumping the gun with "how is it possible to have snow and grass at the same time!?", let me explain. This is the last planned overworld area to include. At first, it was going to be a snow/ice area, but that's boring. My quest so far has 11 landscapes, 9 of them being mandatory. Of those 9, 6 have mandatory main dungeons. There's a forest, a desert, two mountains, and the final sky area. But, I needed one last landscape. And so huzzah!
What do you guys think about the concept of an area where Mother Nature reigns in it? (Hypothetically speaking). Normally, one would relate nature with a forest or lush green area. I, however, wanted to combine green and grass with snow, because why not? The dungeon, instead of having an "ice/lava" theme as it was going to be originally, would have a "water/ice" theme. Also, another reason I decided to not have it be fully ice and snow, was because Natura Hortus is located a bit south of Harena Desero, which collides a bit as to why are there two opposite temperatures so close?
Anyway, I want to hear some thoughts about this concept, and some ideas regarding what more could I do here.
EDIT: Credits to Shane once again for the custom snow tiles.

It's fine that you're having grass and snow in my opinion. Liking your idea with mother nature too. I was gonna make a snow dungeon with green foliage myself at some point The screen looks great.

Quite possible, since I see it a lot during transitions to and from winter around here.
But as far as screen design goes, NJF posted a similarly themed screenshot to SotW 594, where it was quite well received, so I wouldn't worry about too many people asking a question like that. It's a nice setup regardless of the set.

It seems you often use weather effects. I could imagine that this could get annoying for the eyes if you do this too often. Otherwise great screen.
Only 5 of the 11 landscapes use them, and they're layered transparent

Well if you look at Spirit Tracks' overworld, the Snow Realm has a region where you have separated patches of snow and grass, so this isn't an issue and can make sense IMO. The screen looks great btw, I'm seriously loving the progress on this project.

I think I've already made more progress on this than Hylian's Legacy.

Not from a project. Wish they were. Not really looking for critique, just showing off a lot of my custom stuff I made out of boredom that probably are never going to be seen in an actual project. *shrugs*

Shot 3 in particular there is tits. Like, in a good way. Kind of a GBZ meets Yoshi's Island sort of vibe.
