Plot;

Long ago, the Onyx Sword was used to banish evil from Hyrule, and sealed in the stone the sword was left in. Now, centuries later, the sword has been drawn again, and the evil released. Link must find the sword and restore peace to Hyrule once more.

Pretty Lame, but I'm working on it.

This Quest takes place somewhere in between the Oracle games, and Ocarina of Time. You'll find that it has an OoT feel, as it is very similar in structure.

I decided to redo my quest in a different tileset, so screenshots will be up later on.

Eh, no offense, but it sounds like a variation of the master sword. I do hope you have a different end boss, cause that wouldn't work if you used Ganon.

Oh, and you better not have "square" areas, those don't look very good.

Actually the onyx sword will not be a usable item in the game. The end boss will not be Ganon. And what do you consider "square" areas?

I mean that the border follows the edge of the screen.

I know a thread has a picture of a "square" screen, I'll post it once I find it.

I know what you mean, but this being a Gameboy styled quest, may have some of that. Take a look at some screenshots from the actual Gameboy games so you might know what I'm talking about.

Gameboy style? I am a big fan of those games. icon_biggrin.gif Hope to see some screenshots. But that's all I can say right now, like Kwolfgames.

I'm thinking about changing storyline(it's pretty lame) and graphic style. Anyone know how I would go about getting a monochrome GB style tileset?
