On the mountain above the desert. You need to walk up invisible stairs to reach the screen with the entrance.

I'm in Level 5. I think I need the boots to get the big key, but I can't find it. I've searched the overworld and  Level 5, but can't find it. Did I miss it in a previous dungeon?

In Level EX, there's a key one room north and two rooms east of the entrance.  How do I get it.  I've entered from both sides but can't figure out how to get from the trigger on the right over to the key.  Nothing I use seems to allow me to cross the flashing floor after hitting the trigger - even after I get rid of the other flashing things in the room.

Use the magic mirror and you'll see a hidden dungeon that will be revealed by using whistle. It located one screen above the northern bridge on the left side of the large lake

Actually that's an alternative quicker method to get the big key if you did dungeons out of order. When doing dungeons in order the only path is from the right by bombing the wall.

You have to use the fire enemies to damage boost yourself across the floor, simply walk into them to bounce yourself to the other side.

I am also in Level EX.  I got past the room with the hand that grabs you and went to the room to the right and I can't figure out how to pass that room.  There is a spike thing that goes back and forth and no way to avoid it or go around it.  How do I pass this room?  As soon as it hits me I die.  I did find another entrance, but I need a key to progress.  Where can I find that key?

Sorry to gravedig an almost 2 year old thread but figured I'd give this a shot. Have been playing this for the last 2 days, pretty damn good actually. However I'm now at a roadblock, I haven't got a clue where Level 8 is. I figured it'd be somewhere super obvious but idk what I'm supposed to be looking for. A hint of some kind would be appreciated lol

 

Edit: That was super cryptic, you gotta whistle in the area with the green rocks by the lake. I had a suspicion it'd be something around there but it was never obvious to me lol.
