Sorry if this has already been answered, but how do I link two overworld maps so that you can walk back and forth between the two?

You want to use scrolling warps. On the screen in question, you'll press F11 to open the side warps dialogue. You'll set the warp type to scrolling, set the dmap and screen to the right destination, and click the side of the screen you scroll off.
