Code Lyoko was a French cartoon which aired on Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2007. It told the story of four boarding school students - Jeremie, Ulrich, Yumi and Odd - as they attempted to suppress the evil forces of Xana within a virtual world named Lyoko, all the while attempting to materialize Aelita - Lyoko's last remaining human - into reality so they could shut down Lyoko's computer system and finally bring an end to Xana.

One of my all time favorite cartoons right here. Anyone remember it?

I watched the first season of it. It was pretty good, but I never got around to watching the other seasons. I may give it a shot again though, when I have time. icon_smile.gif

Supposedly there's going to be a 4th season coming out from what I hear, though. I don't know the story or premise of it, though.

Code Lyoko was French? I didn't know that.

Anyway, I absolutely loved Code Lyoko. it was just SO original. I loved when Aelita went to the real world, and became a human. It was so awesome!!
I wanna watch it again now.

Fifth season, actually. And nobody knows anything about it except that the tentative title is Code Lyoko: Evolution.

I absolutely loved that show! I just never got to watch it because the stupid school bus always took too long to get home, and I'd miss everything except the last five minutes of the show.

I swear, the moment I have enough time (and if I can find it), I'm going to sit down, start at the beginning, and just watch the whole series start to end online. If a new season is starting up and they're reviving the series, I'll need to do that to get caught up. I only remember bits and pieces.

Haha, well the last five minutes WERE always the best part! The tower deactivations in that show still give me chills to this day.

I watched it before...it's pretty meh. It's alright, but not anything spectacular. It also couldn't maintain my interest, however, and that is vital for continued viewing.

I didn't watch it to much so I don't have to much to say about it. But I do remember that I hated the animation style. Big block heads with tiny eyes? Didn't appeal to me as much. I'm not saying the show is bad, although if I remember correctly, it was very cheesy.

Get out.

Anyway, there's a 5th season coming out?! YAY!!!! Now there's a reason to watch Cartoon Network!! (I read CN might not air it. The company's trying to find another partnership)

Watched it when it was on the air and loved it.

I also just noticed that Keiichi123 and I have the same real name.

I programmed a return-to-the-past-now animation in BASIC when this show was airing.
