Yeah, it's no big deal, though. Post count is only a number, and hearts are only a fancy decoration. Quality over quantity always. Remember that.

I'm still an Apprentice just like Majora's Wrath. That might change after I think 550 posts?

However, read the rules. Don't post like crazy just to get more hearts; we can reduce your post count if you make us.

back on ZHQ2, new people tried that all the time so they could use the arcade section. One person even complained when a mod reduced his count, because now he couldn't play.

That makes me happy. I will celebrate this moment by fetching pudding and leaving it on my computer desk.
I really want to try that; reducing someone's postcount for poor quality posts. The logic behind that is that a person's postcount should reflect the user's wholesome posting activity and post quality, rather than just the number of times they've posted. Additionally, if the low quality posts tend to accumulate in DS and Forum Games, yet earn no post count for posting in those two forums, why do you think that is? Thus, the low quality posts achieve no post count additions, while posting anywhere else, namely, a place where post quality must be high, does yield a post count increase.

I volunteer. How about you drop me down to about 10 or 20 less than yours?? I think that sounds fair. Besides, all of my topics, and posts in general, are all rubbish; unless they're about food, then its all good.
Back on subject, IF custom titles and pips were to be removed from "the post count factor", I doubt that it would make much of a difference to the greatest part of the community. Well, I wouldnt mind, but thats just me.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your posts or your posting style, Adom. In my opinion, a post is considered spam, if you can delete it without making any impact whatsoever on the people there or on the quotability of the thread. It's a post like "Looks great!" or "That's cold" because if you said "That's great!" you could also say why, which would have far, far more practical applications. Actual thought is often required to post. It's like walking into a room and being able to say something. If you just say "Hi! I like shoes!" they'll think you're a moron, whereas if you walk into a room and greet everyone and act cordially civil and add a lot to the discussion, you're virtually loved for your presence and for your mind. Think about it, people. Add serious content to posts and threads. People will heart you all over for it.QUOTE

Eh, people like to earn their keep. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a perfectly good post war, AS LONG AS YOU'RE NOT SPAMMING WHILE DOING IT!!! Spamming completely defeats the purpose of postcount. It's best left in DS where it belongs, where you don't earn anything for your trivial efforts.#12

In trying out other forums, Kokiri Kids has an arcade only accessible to members who get 50 posts. I'm not there yet, but I'm being patient, and I'm not going to spam places. PureZC taught me a few things about post etiquette.
However, it gives you good satisfaction when you make it to 1,000 posts, and earn that oh-so-coveted custom title... It's not much, but it felt good to know that I've earned a rare privilege...
