This is a good one. There have been so many great movies, and in them all, so many great movie villains.

What do you think?

Me? It's a tough one. The ones that come to mind are Darth Vader and Barbossa from Pirates of the Caribbean. Though I gotta say: Barbossa was a great villain, so I'll go with him.

EDIT: This is really a nomination thread, I forgot to mention. After awhile, I'm taking the top nominees and making a poll.

The Green Goblin from Spiderman.

He was so cool... he had quite the impressive arsenal of weapons and gadgets.
And he overwhelmed Peter a few times, so you know he's good. [In a... bad, villain-y sort of way >__>]

Hitler in pink.

Hitler in Pink would most likely be the leader of all the super villains in the world.

I second this, actually. Umbridge is pretty much the worst "Sweet old lady" I've ever read about, despite her not being .. old ..

While I didn't care for the movie, the lady who played Umbridge did an excellent job at it.

However, she isn't technically a "villain," as she is technically on the good side, but she is a witch b****. icon_sweat.gif

I would've said Voldemort, though, but I already nominated Barbossa. icon_blah.gif

icon_doh.gif Forgot to say, this is kinda a nomination thread. Afterwards, I'm going to make a poll when we get plenty of nominations and decided who's gonna be on it.

EDIT: Green Goblin's awesome. icon_w00t.gif

Since this is a movie villian thread, I can't nominate Voldemort due to lack of depth, so I nominate Shooter McGavin, from Happy Gilmore.

Shooter McGavin had more depth than movie Voldemort is what I'm saying. if this was a contest among fictional villians in general I would quickly agree with you all. Voldemort in the movies has had exteremely little character development. They just said "He is Evil. You must defeat him.". icon_unsettled.gif

Dr. Evil from Austin Powers. Villains from comedies are always the best icon_biggrin.gif .

I remember that movie. Cornier than the original Turtles movies, it was. icon_deformed.gif

That's seven so far: Barbossa, Green Goblin, Darth Vader, Shooter McGavin, The Black Knight, Bison, Dr. Evil. I'm not counting Umbridge cuz she wasn't technically a villain, just a b****. icon_blah.gif

We need at least three more nominations, maybe four, to cancel out Shooter McGavin, whoever the flip that is. icon_blah.gif
