This is a really neat idea, actually, and the execution seems simple enough to implement in quests without too much hassle. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a specific use for such an idea, but it's definitely a neat idea. Nice work there. icon_smile.gif

I was gonna make people eventually move into the new house near the end of the game, but I didn't feel like making tiered secrets.

For anyone interested, a screen state chain is as easy as setting screen state carryover (SSC from now on). On the screen with the trigger, set the SSC to the first receiving screen. On the first receiver, set the SSC to the second, and so on until the end of the chain. On the last screen, don't set an SSC.

You mean put the number of the screen on the SSC?

Yes, put the absolute coordinates (not DMap coordinates) of the receiving screen in the trigger screen.

So, once you get the Triforce of something, once you go onto that screen, it will warp you to the screen
with the secrets triggered? Does it warp back to the D-map when you exit the screen with the triggers?

I'm talking about something else. Having a Triforce-warp to a changed DMap would be very difficult if at all possible. I would recommend having a (permanent) secrets trigger in the Triforce room, perhaps an invisible (looks like the floor) sensitive step trigger?

Yeah, I was thinking about that tool. Can it make a secret on a different screen or even D-map?
If so, please tell or take me to a tutorial. icon_smile.gif

Yes, it can. You just have to use Screen State Carry-Over in Screen->Data.
