Go down, left (you can't go right because the pounding stakes), into the cave. There go where the superbomb shop was in LW. So, left, down, right. Use the flute just before the blocked entrance. There you find IW L1. icon_thumbsup.gif

First get 3 keys:
-from entrance up, right til you can go down and then down, right. Boomerang the block there
-up from the entrance, kill all enemies in the way, one screen will have a key appear
-up from entrance til you can go right. There go right and kill all leevers instead of going down
Then go up and left from entrance to use up your keys. You will soon have boss key, dungeon item and Goron Mask. Now there's additional 3 keys to get, all are in quicksand (you need to kill all enemies and move the block from the quicksand):
-one screen upper than entrance
-directly up from entrance after many screens
-from entrance: up, all the way right, up, all the way left
Then go a bit back to the right to start using up the keys.

Done! icon_biggrin.gif

While this topic is here...

I beat the first level and got the Heart Container from King Zora, but I was distracted while he talked and didn't hear how to get the Zora's Sapphire. Whoops.

Err, there be no king zora and neither the 3 artifacts, the items you get are the dungeon items, this is because it's NES-ified.

At the north. One screen south of the mask shop. Shoot the mirror with the IW L4 item from below so that it reflects the magic onto the boulder.

Wait what? There's no King Zora or 3 artifacts, and I only get items in dungeons? What?

Zorlaf:
Go to bottom right corner of BB. There's Ebola Zaire who tells you how to get red ring.

hinsburg:
As Twilight_Knight (and the submission form) said, Bloodline Classic is the full NES conversion of BB. Everything is simpler. The Zora King is the one who gave you the raft. There are no three artifacts, you need to get inventory items (just as the intro said) to eventually get Master Sword.

Boomerang the goriya at the south, go over the gap with tile and burn the red bush. There is the raft.

Ebola Zaire told you:
"Shoot the ground near the barracks"
This is something that you can't find on your own, you needed this hint. You also need L2 arrows or silver arrows or Darknut Bolts. These 3 are the same. icon_smile.gif
