Map of the Year 2012: Sword Bracket
For Shield bracket, click here.

With a new year comes a new opportunity to reflect on the past. Naturally, it's time to take a look back at 2012's maps and decide which is qualified to be Map of the Year!

The first round will run until January 15. The winners of the Sword and Shield brackets will face off head-to head from January 16 to the end of the month and the winner of that match will be crowned champion!

Taking Hubydweyer. Jared's 33 shot is still kind of smudgy, and his 30 shot is fine, and I like that Dragonite's has a bit of variety in it, but Huby's just stands out to me the most.

The Sword Bracket's winner is Tingle (a.k.a. Dragonite)! He will face off against Sheik in the Map of the Year 2012 finals.
