Does anyone know a good music maker program thats free. I tried google but i have to pay for all of them and they are way over priced.

There is pretty much nothing that is free that is any good.

In addition, if you knew what features are in some of those overpriced programs, you wouldn't think they are overpriced anymore.

I suppose you could try Anvil Studio. But I hated it.

Anvil isn't that bad, it is about the best free one that I know of. It's a little hard to "tame" at points, but it's pretty good.

There are a few more free programs for Linux than for Windows in this area if anyone wants to investigate - I've seen a list of them but not actually used any.
