a newer 2.10 than 2.10.2? Never heard of that. But for me to be able to submit the tile set it needs to be 2.10 or below. I believe?

You can submit 2.10.2 stuff to the DB.

Yeah, 2.10.2 quests still work on the original 2.10.

But it still stands how / or can I use the "r" key because I tried in both and they crash.

I'm not sure what's wrong, but here's how "R" is supposed to be used:

For example, open the DoR Tileset. Go to the tiles sheet, click "Grab," open a tile that's meant for Pure. Press R. It should recolor the tile.

It's never crashed for me. icon_unsettled.gif

Thats what I am doing because I am making a tile set, and when I go to grab the tiles it has that funky color swirl effect and I need to press the R key to fix them But it crashes icon_wacky.gif

If both 2.10 and 2.10.2 crash, the tileset must be corrupted somehow.

Actually, pressing "r" crashes ZQ if you use it on a GIF file, or on a BMP file that was converted to BMP from GIF or PNG. Sometimes converted BMPs and GIFs are working, but only real born BMPs can be colour converted safely. I heard newer alphas can handle PNGs. Plus some PNGs do work.

So thats why humm. I guess what I am going to have to do is build my tile set in a newer build then export the palettes and take snaps of the tiles as BMPs...More work than I wanted to do but oh well

It's in 2.10, too. And there are even more keys for PNGs, but as I said, they rarely work.

"b" and "o" are that I remember. One of them seems like changes the colour depht. But if you try to rip from a PNG that has bigger colour capacities than 2.10, then it doesn't matter if you press them. Do what I did: press all keyboard button from first to last and you see which does what.

"p": Shows original image without colour loss. (Can't rip this.)
"r": Colour fix at BMPs
"o" and "b": PNG changes
etc.
