I can't open ZQuest. I can double-click on it, but when it tries to open, it immediately closes and asks if I want to add some files to the archive (I have WinRAR for reasons I will not explain because they don't matter, and if the archive thing matters, it popped up because I left the files in the zipped folder. I saw no reason to take them out because I am not keeping it. I only wish to check out the new features.). What do I have to do to make it work? Do I need to take files from the last beta and put them in the same folder as the newest beta? Also, on a side note, did you release any betas after beta 12d? If so, I'll need a link to them, since it may be my problem. The thread for the beta 12s is gone now on AGN.

Oh yeah, jman forgot to mention to load all necessary files for ZCV211b12.9 (except the sfx.dat and alleg42.dll files) from the ZC 211b12d file. Also include the Zquest.txt file, since ZQuest scans for it. Then it should work.

are Class Levels above 4 stronger? Say you got the Master Sword, right?, and I have this other sword class level 5, is it stronger than the Master Sword?

If my logic is correct, Class Levels are for item "upgrading", meaning that when you pick up an item that is Class Five, and you currently have the same type of item that is Class Four, the Class Five replaces the Class Four. The item may not necessarily be stronger. You can make a Class 5 Sword and have it weaker than a Wooden Sword. That's what I'm getting at. I could be wrong, though.

Dude, you need the allegro file for it. Otherwise, it won't work.

Well then, you may have to redownload 2.11b12.9. If possible, you should download 2.11b12.9.1. icon_wink.gif

Okay, it's working for me, and as far as I know, here's what I did:

I downloaded 12.9 and unzipped it into my ZC folder and hit replace all, over the support files given out last beta.
I downloaded 12.9.1, and did the same.

That's all I did, and it's working. Maybe you didn't replace the SFX file or something.
