We'll end this contest around May 31st. Good luck, everybody! :)
P.S. I will update the long-neglected Map of the Month leaderboards and archive within the hour.
Also note that Doctor Potts updated his map shortly after the contest started. The original is here.

Ok, my reviews so far:

Rastael: A very good use of the Cave of Flames set of Pure Remembrance. However, there is something I can't put my finger on, but still, a solid shot in my book.

Shane (Shane7227, not Charizard  ): A great shot demonstrating ALTTP Kakariko. My vote went here, but the only "but" I have is that the shot lacks a bit of detail, although the palette (Grasslands) helps it.

Doctor Potts: Great use of classic, but still, hmmmm, I see it's pretty much a basic one, but alas, how much detail can you get in classic? XD A few tile errors I see here and there, but meh, who cares?

Voted for Rastael, but you need to do something about the ground-to-lava transitions.

I myself voted for Rastael too. But the mix of MC, LttP and GB does not go well. Don't tMC have graphics for the mine-cart stuff? Also surely there are several objects that can be replaced with stuff from the Minish Cap such as the sign, switches, chests, etc. I don't blame you if you refuse this lengthy task; but it will be a kick ass visual map for sure.

thx for your feedback. :D

Yes, there are MC-rails in the tileset, but they don't go well with the rail-script.

I really liked Shane7227's map this week. I just love how the villages change appearance like that. Good job. :)

Rastael's is very nice and got my vote.

However, I am hoping that Shane's is a quest that will be completed. The Ice Age concept could be interesting!
