People keep saying Link looks too feminine, but I say: so what? I don't think anyone's made a quest with a female protagonist yet. Why not give it a go? The only problem I see is that the tiles aren't set up for the original classic palette.

Edit: Seasoned Blood and Cousin of Powers, you fool! Silly brain. Anyways, my point still remains the same.

I've had the idea on many-a occasions but could never find tiles that really suited what I needed and everything I drew looked like poop. icon_deformed.gif

Anyway, the tiles look great. I don't really mind it looking a little more feminine. With a little tweaking, we could have a female protagonist. :3

Thanks guys ^_^! This is actually rather fun to work on, because I'm trying to make it resemble his original self as much as possible, which is why I am calling it NOS Link (New Original Style Link), and I want to know if I did the Left/Right stab tiles correctly:

I remember the original Link's sprite had a pose similar to that, and the shield did this Diagonal thing. Did I capture that right? And another thing: I PERFECTLY fit him into ZQuest, meaning I used up every single color of the single CSet XD. Barely got in there without 8-bit mode, but now I know I can only work with the colors currently present in the sprite sheet.

Also, I might, MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT, consider making a New Original Style Tileset (with this as the Default Link Sprite) when I finish and all of this end of the semester work blows over xD.

I also get a strange Wind Waker vibe from them.
I will use that tileset, if you ever make it! icon_lol.gif

Loooving it!
What tileset will they be for? They'll look great in Pure remembrance icon_biggrin.gif
Also, why did you do Link's up sprite hat like that? It looks like he's going northeast instead or just north.
