Yeash, the feeling is back; The desire to draw custom Link sprites. This time, I'm naming the tiles "Enhanced Link". And also, I'm going to make it compatible with Z3 Animation, and it is ZCABLE, meaning you aren't forced to use 8-BIT mode on his sprites. This is what I have so far:

IPB Image

Animations
Walk (Down, Shieldless): IPB Image
Walk (Up, Shieldless): IPB Image
Walk (Right, Shieldless): IPB Image

Comments/Suggestions/Praise? It's all needed AND welcomed icon_wink.gif.

Will you have all the graphics necessary to fully set up this link sprite?

As well as a slightly easier to use sprite sheet letting you know what sprites are for which animations?

As well as full swimming sprites like the one-handed/two-handed hold up and diving sprites? icon_razz.gif (I know I'm being a pest, but you asked for comments/suggestions/praise,etc...) icon_blah.gif

Marvelous. Just make sure it has the COMPLETE set of tiles for every Z3 animation and this will be perfect.

Of course, NO TILE LEFT BEHIND! =). The diving tiles are going to be a pain, but the rest is pretty easy. I shall organize this sheet too. And the Z3 Animation...I want to accommodate it, but it's weird how it has 9 frames in ZC for walking when it's supposed to be 8.

That would be wonderful.

And now a question, Are you also gonna supply shield item sprites for each of the various shields you put on this Link? And you will have shieldless tiles too, right? icon_razz.gif

Shield-less is automatic; can't attach a shield without a base. As for the items sprites, they're basically the same as what you see when he's facing down, but I guess I could make real items out of them icon_wink.gif.

It kinda looks like his body is sloshing from side to side.

How can you use the idle pose? Is that built into Z3 animation or does it require a script?

Z3 animation, the 1st tile of the 9 tile animation sequence is the idle pose.

@Moscow: Well the Idle is basically for blinking.
@Alestance: His head is actually round, but when he is facing down, I extended his side-burns a-bit.
