...to...


if(this_ffc->Data == 0){ portal_warp_delay--;}

I wrote a working portal script back in 2007, so there's that. No screen warps were involved.


Were you thinking of the NineLives mini-quest/demo by any chance? At least that's the one that I remember.

That is possible. I'm fairly confident it had some relatively simple custom graphics, and it included maybe two or three puzzle rooms. Might have been longer than that, it's been too long. It was pretty nifty though.

No, don't use that, actually. flickin' purezc still eats all the code I post. I don't know why that hasn't gotten fixed yet. It's treating text inside code/ tags as html or something IDK.

You should just copy it directly from the original archives at AGN:

I should have paid attention:

if(this_ffc->Data > 0){ portal_warp_delay--;}
I use the text-only editor, with manual tags, as I have nothing but trouble with the WYSIWYG editor. (The fact that once you go to edit something, the tag format changes, is also a bloody pain.)

Well if the portal is inside the wall how are you going to walk into it (or out for that matter)? :P

It's possible but you'd have to edit the script. It wasn't originally designed to open portals inside solid combos.
