Cleanup Coming

Pruning (for those that don't know) basically involves deleting older posts to keep the database size down. This shouldn't affect you much unless you love reading through the forum's history. The threads that will be removed will be from a year or two ago. The only exception comes from Derisory Substance. All threads older than one month will be pruned from that forum. A few forums will not be pruned, including Quest Project forums.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.

But of course the pruning is good because there's no unlimited space. And if it makes PZC run any faster, it's great, though in my opinion PZC runs fast enough currently but whatever...

No. It shouldn't. Unlike message board software such as vB, post count on IPB doesn't link directly to the posts.

Not that I know of. Wild Bill made a backup of the database, though.
There's always archive.org... though it doesn't get every single topic (and just tends to be one page of the ones that do get archived).

I don't think post count will lower and if it does then I'm that much further from my custom tile .
