The first time I played Bottle Grotto in LA I was able to get past the mean-faced platform (the one that needs extra weight to sink downward) without holding the jar. It took about ten minutes, but eventually it would nudge downward pixel by pixel, and still play the lurching noise that would occur when you held the jar.
Intentional or...GLITCH? o.O
