I'm the opposite, I like criticism, I won't criticism, It helps me find way's to improve things. People shouldn't take criticism so seriously, after all, its there quests, its more important that they like them, not other people.

Aww! Just as i enter a shot thats winning the comments are closed I liked the comments! Like Prae said about the Mona Lisa thing, how would the two losers know they're work wasnt a piece of crap if the only feedback they got was "your pic lost"? The comments were great because they let you know how close you were to winning that vote, and that you're work is actually appriciated even if it isnt the best there.

Comments also let you see the pros and cons of your shot in the eyes of their target audience, eliminating the need for "shot critiquing". Rather than leaving SOTW with the impression "your shot isnt good enough to win" they leave with knowledge of how they can make it better.

Dont kill SOTW comments, they're a good thing
