really? what part is so hard? it's kind of an old-school learner, not a typical custom quest gauntlet romp, so I could see it being a bit frustrating, but, after watching your other videos, I know you can do it. I guess my quest must be tough, but I also suspect nobody is willing to try a tough part more than twice. if you shot some video of your failures, I'd still like to see them. I feel like the kids that grew up with the NES and didn't wait for Nintendo Power to explain everything to them will be able to handle this quest. Zeldaman23 managed to explore the last version and I haven't made it any harder...

I haven't given up yet. I'll keep trying and get the upload in as soon as I can.

Hang on, are you still using BB Flashback Express on these? I use the same program, and had the same audio sync-ing problem. However, I messed with the settings and figured out how to fix it. If you're still having issues with it but are still interested in using it, let me know. I'll tell you what settings I have on. (I'd just post it here, but I don't know what settings do what, so I'd have to post absolutely everything on the list.)

I would really like to know this. My last LP, I used Audacity to record voice.

"Sound Source" is set to "PC Speakers" (I do post-production voice-work, so I don't know how microphone on separate track would work.)
"Sample Rate" is set to 22.05 kHz

---File Size---
Set to "Unlimited"

---Record Mode---
Set to "Automatic" (GDI Mode)

---Advanced Tab---
"Use Extra Sound Synchronization" is checked
"Seek Time vs. Movie Size" is set to 75% towards "Faster Seek, Larger File"

I think those are all the important settings. If you need to know the others, let me know. This is what works best for me.

congrats! off to watch it. thanks.

edit: awesome; I'm glad you stuck with it. you missed a LOT of content, though. you saw about two thirds of the screens and enemies and about half of the items, which is too bad because a lot of the unique charm was glossed over or skipped in this playthrough. I wish you hadn't seen the "final" screen as a "stop now" ending, as there was much more to explore. the speedrun approach will likely not work when this quest is finished because crucial items would be missed, blocking progress. there were two boomerangs, dynamite, a hammock, flowers, the cellphone, a cog key, a fish, my cat, presents, a bow and arrows set... even a triforce piece and a custom Gannon! maybe I should be happy that you didn't reveal and "spoil" many surprises for other players. good luck with the rest of the demos! thanks, again.

I'm planning to continue soon. College and work are weighing me down at the moment. The next LP will be Saffith's Eight Objects.
