Using build 2.55    

 

Quest will not load.  I'm getting a msg that says "Not q custom quest.  Clear the first quest to play this"

It appears they've incorrectly set the quest number in the header file. However, that shouldn't prevent the quest from opening. I'm able to load it fine in 2.55.3. What version of 2.55 are you on?

This loaded fine for me in 2.55.3. And I can't find reference to that error message anywhere in the code base.

That message was previously given for quests with a value other than 0 set for "quest number" in the header. As of 2.55, the help text says that it should be depreciated.

It says 2.55 Alpha 79 Build 52

I went looking for 2.55.3, cant find a download anywhere

Ok, I finally got this loaded in 2.55.3, but now every time I select save and quit, when I go back into the quest, I dont have my sword any more.  The place where I got it is an empty cave.  Guess I wont be able to play this one
